Construction: Norwegian pine throughout, restored using recycled North American 200 year old yellow pine; hull through-fastened majority with tree nails, remainder with steel bolts; keel, keelson and frame heels through-bolted with steel; steel-framed deckhouse restored to open waters standards steel tie-rods through wheelhouse.

Main engine: Brunvoll two-cylinder semi-diesel type 2BA60, 90 h.p. at 400 r.p.m., clutched variable pitch single propeller, 2-blades of I.Im/3ft. 6 in. diameter, engine was overhauled by the manufacturers, Brunvoll S.A., at the factory at Molde in Norway in 1973, engine, shaft, tanks, propeller all removed, overhauled and restored under direction of manufacturers Brunvoll S.A. in 1993 by American Shipyard, Newport, Rhode Island, U.S.A.
